Receiving payments from clients worldwide has never been easier! With MimaPay, you can create a payment link and start accepting payments in NGN, USD, GBP, and EUR all in just a few clicks. Whether you’re a freelancer, business owner, or service provider, this guide will walk you through the entire process of creating a payment link and receiving payments seamlessly.
Head over to mimapay.africa and log in using your credentials. If you're new, sign up and verify your account.
On your Dashboard, you'll see the option “Create Payment Link.” If you’re using this feature for the first time, ensure that you’ve set up:
- Payment Link Name → This should describe the product or service you’re receiving payment for.
- Select Currency → Choose from NGN, USD, GBP, or EUR.
- Amount → You can set a fixed price or leave it open for customers to enter any amount they wish to pay.
- CUSTOMERS – The client pays the extra charges.
- MY BUSINESS – You cover the charges.
- EQUAL SPLIT – Charges are shared equally between you and your client.
- Phone number
- Quantity (if you’re selling a product)
- Instagram handle
- Address
Once your payment link is created, it will appear in a table on your dashboard. You can click the three dots under 'Actions' to:
